Cheryl Youngman

The Bronze and Silver medals that Cheryl has garnered are a fitting reward for her years of work with horses.
Spending years exploring Deleon County Florida on horseback with the filly she bred from a mare that her grandfather had given her and which she trained herself firmly planted the seed for what was to become Lake Ridge Farm.
That filly was with her until the filly was 31. She had been joined by the Holsteiner eventer that her eldest daughter had purchased. Over time, her daughter gave the eventer over to Cheryl who embarked on a dressage-oriented career with her. Working with that horse and several others subsequently and with various professionals , Cheryl achieved the Bronze and Silver medals and also acquired two farms- one a 17.5 acre farm currently leased and Lake Ridge Farm itself.
Lake Ridge Farm has been lovingly designed and carefully tended by Cheryl and her staff, providing her with the opportunity to enjoy the well-maintained irrigated pastures, immaculate barn and gem-set dressage ring she sought---all in a first-class facility readily accessible to several top-notch professionals.
While essentially catering to dressage enthusiasts, hunter-jumper and eventer boarders at Lake Ridge Farm enjoy the jump field as well.
Cheryl's next goals are to obtain her Gold medal and to work on Freestyle Bars and further develop Lake Ridge Farm to her high standards.
